Trans men are transsexual or transgender people who were assigned to the female sex at birth, but their gender identity is that of a man. In order to resolve this incongruence, they may medically transition via Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and/or various surgical procedures, or simply change their gender presentation (clothing, hair, etc) in order to live as a man if they are able to do so.
