The sensory cortex is the part of the brain which processes information from the eyes, nose, ears, and skin. It is located just behind the frontal lobe of the brain

Here the ascending sensory neurons terminate and the input processed in particular areas,eg. the visual area, the auditory area, the somatosensory area.
