Nonverbal ability refers to ability displayed in non verbal areas such as:

  • Artistic ability
  • Mathematical ability
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Motor skills
  • Spatial ability

Verbal ability confers many advantages in modern life with the ability to manipulate and process language but large areas of the brain process information in other ways facilitating other aptitudes
