An impregnation fetish is a paraphilia that is characterized by arousal or gratification from the possibility or risk of impregnation through unprotected vaginal sex.

Please note that this term is a common name, and that this paraphilia is not actually a sexual fetish. There is no technical name for this paraphilia.

Given that the root biological purpose of sex is procreation, the degree to which this fetish qualifies as a paraphilia is debatable.

Those with an impregnation fetish may indulge in their fantasy through erotic stories, chat with like minded persons or actual acting out of the fantasy with a willing partner. Roleplaying is often a large part of this sexual fetish, as many do not actually wish to have a child but rather are aroused by the possibility of it during intercourse and orgasm. Responsibility for birth control in this case is usually accepted by the female, as condom use destroys the impregnation fantasy (sperm cannot enter the vagina if the male wears a condom).

The impregnation fetish should not be confused with pregnancy fetishism or maiesiophilia. People who have a pure impregnation fetish are interested in conception only, and therefore have no interest in a woman who is already pregnant, as there is no possibility of impregnating her.

A large number of impregnation fetishists however are aroused by pregnant women as well, and indulge in pregnant sex or pregnant sex fantasy (often involving a woman impregnated by them prior) as part of their gratification.
