Graphical displays are pictorial representations of statistical data that may be produced in a variety of ways (bar graphs, charts etc) in a variety of modes (paper, computer screen, and other electronic displays as in aircraft.) . Psychologists are interested in such factors as the variables affecting comprehension of the information and the effects of different modes of presentation.
