Early experience is any event that occurs in childhood. Such events can have important implications for subsequent development of academic achievement, mental health, and personality for example.
Early memories[]
The memory for such events is problematic as autobiographical memory is open to influence. Age regression (hypnosis) techniques using hypnosis have been studied as a way of clarifying these issues.
