Baragnosis is an inability to accurately judge weight with the cutaneous and muscle senses. It is usually a result of damage to the primary somatosensory cortex. This damage is commonly caused by a lesion or a subdural hemorrhage of the middle cerebral artery.

This should not be confused with the term barognosis which relates to the sense of weight or the ability to judge lifted weights.
